With over 20 years experience in a London Local Authority, Priya has a passion for working with children and young people to support them to achieve their potential.  

Priya was involved in the delivery of services supporting children, young people and their families both in the UK and USA for local authority and non-profit organisations before moving to the strategic side of commissioning. Here, she has been involved in redesigning services, stakeholder engagement, leading on competitive tenders, including evaluations, contract negotiations and ongoing contract monitoring.

Priya has used her passion to help others to become a qualified Aromatherapist; a skill she has used to volunteer at a hospice within end of life care and providing complementary therapy in a London cancer hospital. Currently Priya works with a Children’s Charity where she delivers face to face and online therapeutic well-being sessions to parents caring for a child/young person with an illness. She has used her knowledge and experience to work with both for profit and non profit community sector organisations, and has spoken at local and international events and conferences.
