Jonathan started his career selling advertising in B2B publications for Haymarket. After a brief spell in recruitment, he moved into the conference and events world. Starting out at IQPC Exchange working on c-level, 1-2-1 meeting events and switching to Worldwide Business Research working on the e-commerce portfolio. Jonathan joined Hyve Group (formerly I2I Group and Ascential) in 2015 working on the Retail Portfolio, starting on Pure but leaving the business as Head of Sales of Spring Fair responsible for revenues in excess of £15m.

After a year spent setting up an EMEA office for a US conference business, Jonathan joined Nineteen Group in May 2019. At Nineteen, Jonathan is responsible for the overall revenue across the group’s core exhibition brands. He has overseen the sales team growing from 2 to over 30 people, through a mixture of recruitment and acquisitions. Jonathan is responsible for training, development and has overseen the business’s revenue increasing tenfold since the business was set up in November 2018.
