Hannah Jardine is Business Manager for Bristol-based, women-owned events, exhibitions and experience company Ignition, long-time champions of sustainability and winners of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development in 2020 - the only events company ever to hold this award. The company is also an award-winner for people management and creativity, exemplifying its ‘people, planet and profit’ ethos. Hannah is additionally Group Business Manager for Ignition’s parent company Istoria Group.

Hannah is a highly-experienced events specialist, with 15 years of holistic industry insight, gained working client- and supplier-side at Ignition, Hilton Hotels and the Society for Endocrinology and BioScientifica. She has managed everything from small in-house events to huge-scale congresses and exhibits – as well as looking after Ignition’s multiple ISO Standard certifications.

For ESSA, where she is a Board Member, the Chair of the ESSA Diversity and Inclusivity Working Group and Vice Chair of the Cross-Association Diversity and Inclusivity Working Group, Hannah’s aim is to bring new strategies and fresh perspectives to the table and to make membership more meaningful – and inclusive - for all.
