This award is designed to recognise the most innovative company teams or individuals in the industry over the previous 12 months. Entry is open to organisers, suppliers and venues and could involve anything from an innovative marketing idea which has brought in new business, to a staff initiative which has resulted in significant savings.
The best award to win is the one you didn’t enter, so in true Bafta style the AEO Events Working Group has created the Most Respected Company of the Year Award. This winner will be found following a member only nomination and voting process, utilising the 'non member' contingent from the judges and nominees submitted via the senior representatives from AEO Member companies only.
Our judging process is managed by R3, a third party company who we’ve worked closely with for a number of years to deliver a robust and transparent judging system. R3 divide categories up in a way which means judges are not able to mark entries that could be a conflict of interest in any way.
Our line-up of carefully selected judges – 40% from outside the industry and 40% female, reflects our ongoing journey to drive diversity across the board.
